PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY

The Saskatchewan Mining Association (SMA) offers educators an opportunity to explore the diverse aspects of mining operations throughout the province and their links to the Saskatchewan education curriculum.

SK Teachers, join us for 7 days of hands-on learning about SK’s mineral resource industry with behind the scenes access to leading experts, mine & mill tours (uranium, potash, coal), free resources, and more! Admissions are competitive, apply now!

The GeoVenture Program is FULLY SPONSORED by the SMA (ie all travel, accommodation and meals during the trip) other than a $50 registration fee for selected candidates.

To apply, educators are asked to email a brief letter that includes teaching background (# of years of experience, grade level, subject matter) as well as personal and school contact information (school name, telephone, fax, email) to: education@saskmining.ca
